What makes this vinyl faced metal building insulation unique is its metalized polyester backing. This allows the facing to reflect radiant heat away from the structure. Preferred over VR due to its additional robust vapor retarder and tear resistance. It has a Class A-1 Fire Rating and is a Class 1 Vapor Barrier. Even with its reinforced tri-directional scrim strength, it is easy to cut, roll, and install.

Heavy Kraft Metal Building Insulation Facing. Excellent general purpose. However, it is not the ideal choice when insulation will be exposed to abuse. It has an impressive 0.2 Perm Rating, so it is a Class 1 Vapor Barrier. It also has a Class A-1 fire rating.

The WMP-50 metal building insulation was created for high-abuse areas. Its tensile strength is an impressive 65 lbs. per inch. The Mullen Burst PSI is 120 lbs. The fire rating is Class A-1, and the Perm Rating is excellent at 0.2. Its metalized polyester back enables it to reflect radiant heat away from the structure. It also features a reinforced tri-directional scrim. Because the material is thicker, it is more challenging to cut, roll, and install.
